Delta State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has confirmed the release of its abducted officers.
The command’s spokesperson, John Kennedy said the officers were released on Sunday night unhurt after sustained pressure from the agency and other security agencies.
The NDLEA officers were abducted on Thursday night at the close of work at around 8:00 pm, by hoodlums who ambushed them near the NDLEA headquarters off Isah-Ogwashi-Uku road in Aniocha South Local Council, Delta State.
Kennedy commended the efforts of other sister agencies to secure the officers’ release but remained silent on whether any ransom was paid.
